PRICING FOR SERVICES:

Complete Business Plan Assistance:

Earnest Harvest LLC will facilitate and expedite the entire business planning process. Services include: Earnest Harvest, using client’s current accounting information and technical consultation meetings, will lead the planning process, clarify client priorities, create a work plan, co-ordinate non-budgeting fact gathering and market research and prepare a final copy of the business plan document. Three (3) hours technical assistance included.

Price: Minimum price- $3000.00; travel expenses not included; any further technical assistance/meeting beyond the included three (3) hours will be charged at Standard Technical Assistance pricing. Payments are split between first half payment at contract signing; second payment due at closure/document submission, including any additional incurred costs.

Grant Proposal Assistance: Services include locating three (3) potential Grant Funders matching the Client’s profile and mission (without filing), one (1) written and filed Grant Proposal based on the Client’s current board, budget and service information and three (3) hours technical assistance.

Price: Minimum price- $3000, travel expenses not included; any further technical assistance/meeting beyond three (3) hours will be charged at Standard Technical Assistance pricing. Payments are split between first half payment at contract signing; second payment due at Proposal filing/closure, including any additional incurred costs.

Non-Profit Start Up Assistance: Services include filing of necessary incorporation and 501(c3) federal and state tax documents (client responsible for document filing fees), three (3) hours of technical assistance on Non-Profit business practices, and one (1) hour Board meeting assistance.

Price: Minimum price- $3000.00; travel expenses not included; any further technical assistance/meeting beyond two (2) hours will be charged at standard Technical Assistance pricing. Payments are split between first half payment at contract signing; second payment due at document filing/closure, including any additional incurred costs.

Training and Webinars:  Services include seminars on grant seeking and grant writing, budgeting for grants, fund development strategies, starting a non profit organization, management of non profit organizations, and board effectiveness leadership concepts.  

Price: Varies based on distance traveled, duration  of seminar/webinar, and preparation. Travel expenses are included in the overall price. Payment in full due at conclusion of delivery of services. 

Building Board Effectiveness Assistance: Services include assessment of current board capacity, review of basic organizational concepts, recommendations for structure/restructuring and best practices, review of fund raising, current fund raising practices and capacity, and Consultant attendance at board meetings.

Price: $1500, with minimum ten (10) hour commitment. Additional assistance below 13 total billable hours are at Technical Assistance rates.  Additional Assistance beyond 13 total billable hours will require additional contract or retainer. Initial $1500 is due at contracting signing; additional billable hours and travel expenses due at closure.  

Retainer Assistance: Earnest Harvest will be available for providing advisory and consulting services  on  an going basis for  business development, including fund-raising and organizational projects; participating in planning sessions with client's board and/or staff; conducting presentations to client's board and/or staff.  Additional projects/proposal planning, filing and/or writing will be negotiated at Earnest Harvest’s standard Service rates. Pricing: $3000, for 6 month commitment, one payment due at the beginning of the contract.  Travel costs included.

Technical Assistance/Board meeting attendance:  $100 per hour, travel costs not included.  

Travel costs for all meetings are based on current gasoline prices, distance to meeting and, if applicable, rental space for meetings (including Board assistance) or overnight stays.  Additional expenses, including  delivery service fees, copying and production will be billed at cost, itemized, at end conclusion of contract.

Payments:  All clients are asked to provide payment as noted in the pricing categories, with all final payments made prior to the commencement of services.

Pricing Ethics:  Please note that is unethical for a grant writer to work on a percentage basis or to guarantee any grant awards.
